Golden Years Market
Went to Golden Years Market in Downtown Santa Ana for the first time looking for some vintage. I'm trying that whole slow living thing where I don't buy a million, newly manufactured clothes that I'll never wear. I want to own things that already exist (or new things that I absolutely know I'll love love love) so I can start to live in a less wasteful way. Do a little less damage, ya know?
Walked to GYM from my bfs place and when I got there, ran into his neighbor, Heather, of Luckie Pennie Vintage who was all set up with her cute trailer of vintage goodness. Their neighbor/friend and DJ extraordinaire, Crystal was there too and she checked out the market with me. Of course, I was the one looking through every inch of rack and found nothing, but Crystal found a dope, Hugh Hefner-esque silky robe/pj pant combo that she's gonna wear on stage when she DJs.
I tried on a couple things from Tasty Junk, but my tall girl problems and curvy girl problems came together nicely to give me camel toe in a jumpsuit and, I dunno, some weirdness in an embroidered dress. Maybe next time.
